Ahead of Bihar Assembly Election 2025, Bhagirath Manjhi, son of Dashrath Manjhi – the ‘Mountain Man’ of Bihar, joined Congress party. Alongside, former Janata Dal (United) MP Ali Anwar also joined the party on Tuesday. In a press conference held today, Congress leaders welcomed Manjhi, Anwar and former AAP leader Nishant Anand in to the party.
